Coaching
A coach is not a teacher but a catalyst for personal transformation. In this context, it becomes clear that coaching ideally requires personal motivation. This can be difficult if coaching is ordered by a boss or perceived as instruction. This is understandable, because who likes to be controlled by others? Coaches are often said to live by the motto: “Make things better by making them worse.” The process is similar to conflict management, except that you are your own opponent, and the coach merely plays the role of a mirror that asks questions. The game of “self-knowledge is knowledge of others” and vice versa leads to personal insight in the mirror of the other person’s interaction. If you are interested in this process, please contact us.
